I'm happy to announce that the Mars Rover challenge kit has been posted and is now live.

In this kit, you can drive a Mars Rover and navigate it on a mission similiar to the one taken by Opportunity, one of the real rovers. You will explore Endurance Crater with your rover, and navigate using your own logic aided by data from the rovers sensors.

We're especially pleased to have NASA's assistance in this challenge. They provided imagery and models and were key in identifying this great scenario.

And if you're not a coder, you can still have fun with this kit.  When you install it, you'll see that we provide a dashboard that, when in test mode, will allow you to drive the rover using an onscreen trackball.
